Pet Sketches

You get no funny today. Sorry.
So I figured if I'm going to miss days, I may as well have filler. I sketched a few of my pets. And a horse. There's really not too much to say here, my drawing has improved a bit. I've done colored pictures of characters that I'm fond of as well, and you will find those directly below this text post. Bam. I am amazing.
Tadaaaaaa. I'll be in DC for the majority of this week, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for this friday. I do have comic ideas and loooong plane rides though, so who knows!
FAREWELL, DEAR READERS.
Laura.
P.S. Yes, I did feel like changing up the ending.

Sleep Schedules?

Fun Fact: I believe I stayed up until 2 AM twice after I wrote this. Possibly three times. My memory of those nights is fuzzy.
...
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY, GUYS.
Yes, I said I would be back soon. No, I was not back soon. Honestly, I bet you expect this from me by now, and I hate to disappoint!
...No? Not funny? Moving on!
Alright, three things that actually contributed to my absence:
1) School, which I have been doing better in.
2) An as-of-right-now undiagnosed heart condition. That's not better, but I've been informed it will not kill me, so... Hooray for setting the bar low?
3) Me being insane and neurotic.
Anyway, I haven't stopped drawing. Just stopped drawing comics. (In fact, this one is slightly old, so I automatically hate it for not being the newest thing I've drawn. Okay, I'm kidding.) Mostly. So I do hope any hypothetical readers of this website will notice upcoming art improvement.
Hopefully, I'll be able to come back soon. Again, two of three issues stated above remain unresolved, so we'll see how this goes, but WITH ANY LUCK AT ALL, I'll be back soon. After more heart monitors. Joy oh joy.
I hope to type in this small beige box again soon!
P.S. You guys can't get mad at me because it's my birthday today. I timed that perfectly, huh?

Catching Up

Super-powered girls who incorporate skirts into their outfits are dumb. I will not budge on that.
Hey guys.
...Dang, it's been a while.
First off, happy new year. May your 2012 be full of sunshine and rainbows and worlds continuing to exist. Second off, I've mostly partially kind of resolved some aforementioned health issues-I mean world saving, so I should have more time to draw comics. Third, and this is an important third,
WELCOME BACK, COMICS. NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN!
See you next Friday.

Thanksgiving

I thought we were all saying things we were thankful for. Apparently I was mistaken.
Early (or, depending on your view, rather late) comic because of Thanksgiving. The morally ambiguous holiday that pretty much only America celebrates, even though we were British when the original event occurred. Go figure.
Anyway, I hope you all have a nice time with your families today (And try not to be as cynical as I am.).
-Laura
P.S. I forgot to mention this initially, but I'm trying out a new drawing application. Let me know what you think!

Power Outage

And it was more than three days. And there was no heat in my room.
That basically sums it up. Power outages all over the place here in Massachusetts, though it was apparently still not enough to get me out of school. I've also been...well, not exactly sick. It appears that my vocal chords and I just can't work out our differences like mature adults. Possibly because I'm not legally an adult and they're not legally people.
Anyway, I should be back to regular updates soon.
See you next week!

Doodle Interpretation

And I look significantly less confused than other people do upon seeing my doodles.
Okay yes. I'm late. But I do have a couple reasons!
Reason one: I have two essays and a standardized test this weekend. (My worries can be summed up as "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.")
Reason two: A friend of mine asked me to draw something. Flattery, people. So, I have to do that right after I finish typing this.

P.S. Also I've been watching a lot of Mythbusters, I'll be honest.

In Summary

They could do better than peanuts. I think they stick to them through a warped sense of tradition.
They're jellyfish of death, I tell you!
Duty? Hee hee hee "Doody".
I think that sums it up pretty nicely!
Summer was fairly busy, (For all you aspiring students, I have a tip: Do not leave summer reading for the last week of summer) and school has been even busier. I'll admit that school has mostly been busy because me and essay writing do not mix well.
And, to answer the question that I'm sure has been on all of your minds:
No. I am not dead.
With any luck, I'll be typing in this box again on Wednesday!
